Wes H (CollegeNET) AdminWe have added other ways to identify meeting patterns imported by LYNX such as the time (MWF 0900-1000) and type (LEC). Those are more reliable on our end than the meeting pattern ID in the screenshot. We are not sure about where specifically it is used, but please reach out to us with more information and context if you would like to advocate for having this data in 25Live.

Wes H (CollegeNET) AdminWe have received feedback that the reason this is desired is to make it easier to tell meeting patterns apart when they have identical times, not because the ID number itself is important. To help distinguish meeting patterns, we are adding the first date to the meeting pattern name as well.

Maggie AdminWe have received additional feedback that in situations where the course times and meeting patterns are identical (e.g., when MMPs are used to assign more than one location in the SIS), it would still be useful to differentiate meeting patterns. This Feature Upvote has been re-opened for consideration.

Diane BWe have situations where the same days/times/dates are scheduled for a class. This is done in our SIS (PeopleSoft) in order to schedule two rooms. The instructor might be in one room with a few students and the other room has additional students and is linked in via webex, etc. It is now very difficult to determine the correct row when simply choosing a configuration to Edit.
I also work with Bindings and with no Meeting Pattern Numbers visible, I can no longer easily determine which row in the dropdown to use for the Binding.
