Setting to Automatically Bind MMPs
If there was a way in Lynx to automatically bind the MMPS of all sections in an extract and then manually unbind the handful of ones we didn't want bound, that would be a huge game changer. Either something in Lynx or the Optimzer or even if it was a feature in Pro, I just need to be able to auto-bing mass amounts of MMPs, thanks!

Maggie AdminNote that uploading bound section groups in LYNX is currently possible and may minimize the amount of time it takes to bind meetings to one another. More information can be found here: https://knowledge25.collegenet.com/display/25HELP/Adding+and+Uploading+Bound+Section+Groups

Jeri PriceWe would love this, and it would save us so much time! I think this feature could be helpful to schools if it were built with some options, such as being able to filter which types of meetings could be bound, using things like instructional method , schedule type, or even the meeting type (top choice for me), or even based on date ranges (in Banner, these fields are: SSBSECT_INSM_CODE, SSBSECT_SCHD_CODE, SSRMEET_MTYP_CODE, SSRMEET_START_DATE, SSRMEET_END_DATE) .

Anne FirthThis would be great but have a setting to ignore shared spaces like ON LINE or OFF CAMPUS on any of the meeting patterns.

JasinMy suggestion would an optional setting where MMPs are either automatically bound together by section. That way Optimizer can put all meetings in the same location automatically.
I understand that other universities have both lab and lecture meetings in the same section, so they wouldn’t want both meeting patterns in the same place. Having a togglable setting would allow for both practices to be possible without affecting the other.
